Nail Fungus
Fungal nails are one of the common presentations to a podiatrist’s office.
They are unsightly, sometimes painful, and incredibly hard to eradicate. Your best bet for ridding yourself of these crumbly things is to take an oral anti-fungal AND use a topical to paint the fungal nail. You will need a blood test in order to take the anti-fungal. One other thing to note is that oft times, nails that are appear fungal are that way because there is poor circulation to the feet. A professional exam of your feet, or an arterial test called a Doppler would confirm the poor circulation to the feet.
