Doctor Schafer has been in private practice since 1989.  Until 2000, he was practicing in Alhambra.  Since that time, he has been practicing in the Chino area.  Doctor Schafer has clinical privileges at the Chino Valley Medical Center.  He is contracted with Medicare, Blue Cross/Shield,  Cigna, and United Health Care.  He also has a DME license through Medicare and is thus able to dispense diabetic shoes and other supplies relating to the feet.
